Materials
Aegean cotton is grown in the coastal regions of western Turkey and is one of the country’s most well-known and prized cotton fibers. Cotton has been cultivated in Turkey for centuries, particularly in the fertile regions along the Aegean coast and in Southeastern Anatolia. Today, the country remains among the world’s leading cotton producers.
While conventional cotton farming can require significant water and chemical inputs, organic practices are increasingly embraced as a more sustainable path forward. Organic doesn’t just mean cleaner ecosystems and healthier communities - it also results in longer staple fibers that create a finer, more uniform yarn, giving the material a smoother hand and a more stable structure. Organic Aegean cotton is valued for its consistent quality, offering a balance between comfort and versatility.
These are the qualities we look for in an everyday T-shirt.
